The talismans are the underlying fabric of the game. Players must learn where to get a talisman and pass a trial of some sort for each talisman (as simple as solving a riddle, or as tough as defeating a dragon). The talismans represent experience, but are given for a variety of reasons. In addition, the talismans are also manifested in many ways. Most are tokens, but they can also be other items such as a mask. Talismans can also imbue additional abilities on the owner, such as strength, dexterity or other talents.

However, the game is not just the talismans. There are also different political factions and domains vying against each other, providing opportunity for the players to role-play various events. These can include political intrigue (who murdered the Mayor of New Raga?), head-on-head role-play with opposing groups of cultists and brotherhood or simple investigation role play (a new cell has been opened and everybody who entered it has not returned, except for one person who came back insane...)
